Jimmy Luscombe
Co-Founder / Managing Director
Jimmy Luscombe’s journey from a successful 20-year career as a builder to becoming a passionate advocate for regenerative agriculture is an inspiring story of passion and perseverance. Seven years ago, after the sudden passing of his father, Jimmy stepped up to take over the family farm in the NSW Southern Highlands. What began as a place to find solice to grieve and process the traumatic loss, quickly transformed into a deep commitment to regenerative cattle farming—a passion project that would soon shape his life’s work.
Immersing himself in the principles of regenerative agriculture, Jimmy sought out knowledge from inspiring mentors and completing multiple courses across Australia from some of the world’s leading educators in natural agronomy and regenerative agriculture. He developed a profound understanding of grazing management, soil health, and holistic farming practices. Adapting his knowledge and understanding of building structures, he developed the belief that building soil layers, restoring ecosystems and integrating biology benefits both the land and the people it nourishes, embracing a chemical-free approach to farming, ensuring the highest standards of sustainability and quality.
Several years ago, inspired by a life-changing journey around Australia, Jimmy made the hard decision to leave behind his thriving family building business and embrace a renewed focus on health and purpose. Today, Highlands Natural is the embodiment of his passion for regenerative farming and holistic well-being. What started with premium grass fed beef products has grown to include a diverse range of retail items such as nutrient-rich bone broths, beef tallow, and health-boosting whole food supplements—all crafted with care to optimise health for customers and respect for the land.
Through Highlands Natural, Jimmy is not just delivering exceptional products but championing a movement that connects people to the land, promotes sustainable farming, and fosters good health through natural whole foods for families across Australia.
Jake Campbell
Co-Founder
Jake Campbell is a professional firefighter with FRNSW and Holistic Exercise coach at Primal Movement. He has a deep love for functional movement and holistic health.
In recent years, Jake has noticed a shift within the exercise and health community: a return to real, nutrient-dense food and natural methods over reliance on supplements and . As a big believer in face-to-face connections, he’s deeply involved with his community, loves sharing his knowledge and experiences, and also fostering authentic relationships.
Jake is a Passionate/obsessive cook who creates nutritious, flavourful recipes that highlight the best of Highlands Natural’s premium products. He has catered large-scale events and frequently cooks at the Highlands Natural Farm, including for recipe testing and corporate gatherings. His culinary creations showcase the farm’s quality ingredients, and he personally developed the Highlands Natural signature broths and tallow recipes.
