Hot and Fast
1. GRILLING
Preheat the grill to high heat. Add a small amount of oil and season the steak with salt and pepper, or your preferred seasoning. Place the steak on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until it reaches the internal temperature of your desired level of doneness.
2. PAN-SEARING
Heat a cast-iron skillet over high heat. Season the steak with salt and pepper, or your preferred seasoning. Add oil to the skillet and wait until it starts to smoke. Place the steak in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness. TIP: You can also add fresh herbs, garlic, and butter to the pan for added flavour.
